About Brandon Tran

So you are intrigued to know a little bit about me, Brandon Lee Tran, web designer extraordinaire. Well, I am a website designer, developer, and manager that loves to sail! There is something about capturing the wind to navigate across water without the use of an engine that captivates me. Sailing requires fundamental knowledge, experience, and a passion for nature's spontaneity. That same passion that I have for sailing, I have for the internet and all of its world wide splendor!

Back in the fall of 1997 I was elected treasurer of the student government association of a small college in Alexandria, Louisiana (LSUA). "Geaux Tigers!" The internet was a new concept during that time. The SGA didn't have a webpage, so I decided that they needed to get with the program and represent this new found technology. That year I built my first website which was quite attractive during its debut period. From then on I was innovating new methods of design and content delivery on the forefront of the "internet boom" through all of its ups and downs.

After a couple of years dabbling in website creations, my higher traffic projects where noticed by Brad Greenspan, CEO / founder of eUniverse, Inc. and MySpace.com. I worked for eUniverse, Inc. from 1999 - 2001 managing websites that Nielson Netratings ranked in the top 15 most visited web properties in the United States. I designed multiples projects, innovated content delivery systems, managed content creation teams, and maintained several websites for "eUni."

In 2002 I started my own company INT Marketing, Inc. to contribute to my local community by developing and marketing websites. To this day I am still doing what I love to do most. I spend my time developing clean, functional, and attractive websites.

In 2004 I moved to Asheville, North Carolina which is a great little city with a lot of personality. Interestingly enough, Weiner(2007) titles Asheville as "one of the happiest places to live on earth" in his book The Geography of Bliss a New York Times Best Seller.

My current goal is to educate others on how to hone in on their passion and creativity to create and manage successful content oriented websites. As an experienced web designer many people ask me questions related to SEO and Web Design. I built BrandonTran.com to answer those important questions through my articles and publications.
